With our proprietary, all-concrete, Fuel Island Repair process we can repair a standard (4-6) island site in 2-3 days. During the entire process the gas station and c-store can remain open, with only 1-2 pumps being closed at a time. This minimizes any loss in business during construction
First, Fuel Island Repair follows strict safety procedures in order to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and employees alike
We grind away any and all metal curbing as well as remove loose concrete in order to gain access to any voids or structural issues
As we move along to the next island, we maintain a clean work environment. We also remove any dirt or debris and add bonding agents in preparations for the repairs
We begin to rebuild by re-establishing structural integrity of the fuel islands through starting our repairs at the innermost void and working our way outwards using special 6,000 psi concrete
Having re-established the structural integrity, we then reface the outermost curb with another special 9,000 psi concrete. This creates a much stronger and aesthetically pleasing curb
Finally, using another high-strength, specialty concrete, we resurface the entire island, creating one solid block of concrete. We follow this with a custom pigmented concrete sealer that further protects the concrete
